It’s been awhile but rest assured, things are kicking into full gear in the land of the ‘Holes! The release date - May 26th - for our much anticipated sophomore album (Foxholes) is fast approaching and we couldn’t be more excited to be playing our release show at Vaudeville Mews with our good pals Gloom Balloon and Tires! The album is already picking up a little steam with some great coverage for lead single “Sunny” including this gnarly video we produced with DEFT.
On the show front, we are gearing up for a busy summer of shows around the Midwest and kicked things off last week with a lovely show at Davey’s Uptown Rambler’s Club in Kansas City. The next day we enjoyed some KC BBQ, ran into some Des Moines friends (Shout out to Kevin & Lael!), and I (Trevor) won $50 on a scratcher heading back from Missouri. We look forward to doing it again later this summer!
Up next we’ll be in Fairfield April 28th to play Arbor Fest 2017 at the Arbor Bar alongside some great Iowa bands including Jessica’s other band Honeycreeper. The following day we’ll be recording our second Daytrotter session (woot, woot) and following that up with a show at Tommy’s in Moline, IL. We’ve been trying to get back to the Quad Cities for a bit now and couldn’t be more excited to be playing with our QC based friends Tambourine and Centaur Noir! Last but not least, we are VERY excited to announce that we’ll be playing the first ever Iowa Stock 2017 All Iowa Music & Arts Fair this September! The event is a four day, all-Iowa music and art festival in St. Charles, IA and we’ll be playing the Legends of Tomorrow stage Friday September 1st at 7 pm!
